Watchlists help you track and monitor a list of companies for relevant business opportunities and challenges. Smart Agents, such as "Leadership Changes", "Expanding Operations", are used to gather company-specific news from various sources and displayed in the Watchlist. You can also choose to receive these updates by email.
There are two types of Company Watchlists you can create:
- Static Watchlist: Allows you to add companies using InsideView and set email alert notifications for these companies. You cannot share this Watchlist.
- Automated CRM Watchlist: You can import a list of companies from your Salesforce CRM and create an automated Watchlist. Any changes you make in your CRM automatically reflect in your InsideView Watchlist.

PRO (One Static Watchlist - up to 200 Companies)
TEAM (Up to 5 Static Watchlists with up to 200 Companies each. Can use Automated Watchlists if using salesforce.com)

To create a Static Watchlist:
The following steps describe how to create a static Watchlist.
1. Click Company Watchlists or View Watchlist on InsideView. The default Company Watchlist displays.
2. Click Add Watchlist to add a new Watchlist, or click edit to edit an existing Watchlist.

3. On the options pop-up, select Static Watchlist.

4. On the Watchlist Details pop-up, type in the name of your Watchlist and click Save.

5. On your Watchlist page, click Add companies to add companies to your Watchlist.

6. On the Add Companies to Watchlist page, enter the names of the companies you want in the Enter your Companies box. You can choose to enter the list of companies by either:
- Comma-separating each company name
- Entering each company name in a new line.

7. You can limit your companies search to a location. Set your location using the Location drop-down list.

8. Click Search.
9. From the results list, select the right companies and click Add to Watchlist.
10. To set email alert for this Watchlist:
a. Click Alerts.
b. Select your preferences for email notifications.
c. Click Close.

The notification email is sent to the email id with which you have configured InsideView.
To create an Automated Watchlist:
Automated Watchlists provide the ability to track companies in your CRM based on specified criteria (e.g. "All Accounts I Own", "All Open Opportunities I Own"). These Watchlists are dynamic and update according to changes in the CRM.
Note: Available to salesforce.com TEAM users only
1. Click Company Watchlists or View Watchlist on InsideView. The default Company Watchlist displays.
2. Click Add Watchlist to add or edit to edit an existing Watchlist.

3. On the options pop-up, select Automated CRM Watchlist.

4. On the Automated CRM Watchlist Details window, enter your Salesforce CRM username and password and click Next.

5. Enter a name for your Watchlist, select Account Criteria from the drop-down list and specify your preferences.

6. Click Save.
7. Once the companies have been imported, you will be prompted to resolve matches for companies that weren't found in InsideView. Click Review matches to resolve these.

8. In the Unmatched list, click Find Company to find a match for the company in InsideView.

9. On the Change Matching Company page, search for the company. If no results are found, retry by editing the name of the company.

10. From the results, click on the right company name to select it.
11. Click Save to save the resolved matches.

12. To set email alert for this Watchlist,
a. Click Alerts.
b. Select your preferences for email notifications.
c. Click Close.

The notification email is sent to the email id on which you have configured InsideView.
To rename a Watchlist
1. Select and open the Watchlist to be renamed.
2. Click edit beside the Watchlist name.
3. In the Watchlist Details pop-up, enter the new name in the Name box.
4. Press the Save button.
